Water
is 1,000 times more dense than air, providing up to 12
times the resistance of air, making exercising in water
extremely beneficial. For maximum impact try to aim
for a chest height water level.
Aquafitness can even begin with aquawalking -
and you
can even do aqua aerobics on holiday, try walking across
the pool several times taking large strides then hold
on to the sides and kick your legs for 30 seconds.
For
a simple aqua fit routine, we recommend Joanna
Hall's Exercise Bible,
available from Amazon
and some Marks
and Spencer retail outlets.
